Bio
Kirsten Stackhouse [she/her] is an educator, graphic designer, and illustrator from New Brunswick, Canada, who is passionate about storytelling.
Kirsten is a versatile creative professional, adept at working on a wide range of projects including illustration, branding, packaging, wayfinding/data design, and more. Her approach to graphic design is minimal-leaning, with a focus on clear and playful communication. She has honed her skills by working with a diverse range of clients, both as a solo freelancer and as part of larger creative teams.
She is a passionate instructor at the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design and also teaches various workshops online and in person in graphics, illustration, printmaking, and theatre arts.
Her personal work often explores themes of place and the relationship between human-made structures and nature. Kirsten also enjoys improv and photography and sharing the breathtaking beauty of her home province with the world.
