Kirsten Stackhouse

Kirsten Stackhouse is a digital artist and designer based in Fredericton, New Brunswick.

She is a self taught illustrator, and is formally trained in graphic design, visual arts, and theatre tech and design through the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design and the University of New Brunswick.

Kirsten is the technician for the Graphic Design studio at the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design, and also works as a graphic designer at a multi-disciplinary creative studio based in downtown Fredericton. She has mentored, tutored, and volunteered extensively with students throughout the past decade, and is a quick thinking leader who excels in creative environments. She teaches non-credit courses through the LEAP program at NBCCD, specializing in Digital Illustration, Digital Painting, and traditional printmaking methods.

She works as a freelancer in her remaining downtime, and tackles personal projects when she ought to be sleeping. She is the author of Raccoons of Odell Park (published 2017), and has a few other delights on the way!
